The Sooner Late Model Series returned to Thunderbird Speedway in Muskogee, Oklahoma, on Saturday, June 28, 2025, for the Hayden Ross Memorial. The event was particularly emotional, as Eli Ross, younger brother of the late Hayden Ross, secured a heartfelt victory in the 20-lap A-Feature. Starting from the seventh position, Eli maneuvered through the field and took the lead on a lap-three restart, ultimately holding off Brett Hansen to claim the $6,600 win 

Dan Smith (#92S) had a strong showing, running as high as third before finishing seventh in the A-Feature. Delbert Smith (#92) showcased resilience by winning the B-Feature and advancing to finish 11th in the A-Feature.

The next event in the series is the Lavicky Memorial at Enid Speedway on July 4th and 5th, featuring a $10,000-to-win purse, marking the richest race in Sooner Late Model Series history.
