Event Summary – Salt City Racing, Hutchinson, KS (8/22)

The Sooner Late Model Series squared off against the United Rebel Late Model Series in an exciting night of racing at Salt City Racing.

  • Dan Smith (#92s) showed strong pace early, setting fast time in Group B qualifying. He kept that momentum rolling with a 2nd-place finish in the Pole Dash before capping the night with a runner-up finish in the A-Feature.

  • Delbert Smith (#92) also put in a solid showing, qualifying 3rd in Group B. He battled through a competitive field to take 6th in the Pole Dash and went on to claim 6th in the A-Feature.

The Smith duo once again proved their consistency, both finishing inside the top-10 against tough regional competition.
