Story

Tanner Mullens extended his perfect run in the 2025 United Rebel Late Model Series by winning the Dave Garmann Memorial finale, leading the final 21 laps after seizing the top spot from Braxten Leonard on lap 9. It marked Mullens’ fifth win in five starts, reinforcing his dominance in the series. Starting from 3rd, he pulled away late to capture the $4,000 payday and complete a weekend sweep. Josh Leonard finished 2nd after a tight fight with series points leader Jake Nightingale, who crossed the line in 3rd. Brandon Conkwright and Kip Hughes completed the top five in a fast-paced, competitive A‑Feature.

Dan Smith delivered a solid run, starting 6th and holding his ground in the top five for much of the race before slipping to 7th in the final laps. His performance capped a consistent weekend that keeps him in the upper tier of the standings. Delbert Smith, meanwhile, had a tough outing — after starting 13th, he was forced to pull in early due to a mechanical issue and was credited with a DNF. Despite Mullens’ five-race win streak, Jake Nightingale continues to lead the championship points thanks to consistent podium finishes, setting up an exciting chase as the series heads into the heart of the summer schedule.
